Weddings, The Uk Or Abroad?

January 13, 2010  •  Category : Weddings

Ok so let's've agreed to become a team unit and get married.

Everything is fantastic, rosy and the excitement of planning the wedding is building so much you feel as you are about to self combust!

That's all wonderful, but as there is so much choice for choosing a location to get married these days, couples find that one of the most important arrangements to make, (the venue) becomes a heated discussion and can lead to mini rows before the big day.

So are we talking abroad or in the UK?

Getting married in the UK is traditional and has so many benefits, not only for the blissful couple but also for the family members too. It allows couples to celebrate with the ones they love in the place they have chosen and allows others to help with the planning process.

However, doing the deed in a different country also has its upside allowing couples to benefit from the happy moments basking in the sand and enjoying a longer wedding day over a few weeks.

So what's the intention in me pointing out the obvious?

Well my reason is to remind couples that this is your wedding day and wherever you wish to have your ceremony is your choice and not that of other people no matter how close you are to your family. Remember you are choosing to make a family unit of your own so plan the biggest event of your life with the one person you love and do it well.

So many people start off well making plans for their wedding day, yet they get caught up in other people's wishes and opinions. If other people's views are worth more than your own then go with what they decide otherwise make your own decision when planning a day ,that you and your partner will remember for the rest of your lives.
