For women, eyelashes are a big thing. It's one of the defining features of your eyes. If done correctly it will yield you the dark, alluring, tantalizing eyes that you've always wanted. For this, man invents mascara, eyelash curlers, and other eyelash products. But is it enough?
Apparently, on certain occasions mascara is not practical. Applying it can be a hassle, especially when you are outdoors. Some have issues because they like to swim a lot. Some who wear contacts may want to have a quicker time getting ready without the time needed to put on mascara. The result is, some women have opted to eyelash tinting. What is eyelash tinting actually?
Eyelash tinting is when you tinted your eyelashes with a dye of some sort to make them look darker. Of course, it's best to adjust the color of the dye to your skin and hair color. Do you have light-colored skin? A shade of dark brown on your eyelashes may just be the thing that you need. But that's not the only color. Ranging from black, blue, grey, brown, red, you can choose from a myriad of captivating colors for your eyelashes.
This is a quick procedure, usually using color dyes extracted from plants. You can do this in many salons or spas, but you need to take precautions. Why? Because eyelash tinting can be dangerous if done wrong.
If you decided to tint your eyelashes, the first thing you should do is test your skin for allergies. It's best to ask the ingredients of the dye to determine if you're allergic to any of them If a salon does eyelash tinting, make sure first that they're credible and have the proper tools to do so. Ask around.
How long do the procedure last? Well, although it only take about 15 minutes to tint your eyelash, the result can last up until one and a half month. Is it painful? No, the procedure should not be painful, except when the eyelash tint got into your eyes. Rinse it quickly with water.
Can I do it myself at home? Well, in theory, you can. But it'll require a great feat of dexterity since you'll be doing it with one eye closed. Usually, the end result of do-it-yourself-eyelash-tinting is messy.
